Goodbye, Bellingham

So, here starts my new chapter.

A couple of days ago I said goodbye to the place I called home for four years.

In all honesty, I'm not ready to say goodbye, even though I guess I already did. New and amazing things are to come, for sure, but leaving behind some of my favorite people, best friends, and the amazing beautiful GREEN town, is hard to grasp.

As I said in my goodbye to college post, I've changed a lot in coming to Western and Bellingham. I've learned that friends change, you change, and friendship falls apart. I've learned what a best friend is - how to be one and what's been missing from those past relationships. I've learned that drama is never the answer. I've learned that true friendship will never die. I've learned that if someone isn't making you happy and isn't on that two-way street, sometimes it's best to let them go.

I've learned that I'm good at what I do and I need to have faith in that.

My heart is breaking that I can't be around my closest friends and the people that bring me peace and joy into my life. To say I cried is an understatement. But, I know that wherever we go, we'll always be friends. Plus - we are definitely planning some trips in the future!

Here's to those friends, my best friend, that college town I spent four years of my life in, the wonderful memories made, and the memories to come!

xx
