At least 20,000 people marched in the women's march in Phoenix on January 21, 2018. I was one of them.
It's important to let our voices out. At the pre-march, we heard from a transgender woman, a disabled woman, an indigenous woman, a black woman, and many more. We stood together, marched together, for our voices to be heard.
Last year was a march of resistance, this year was a march to rise.
When they go low, we go high.
